Lots of stuff.

Well I am going to start out on what we did on Tuesday. Well we went to see the White house, Lincoln memorial, and some museums. Then on Wednesday we went to a Holocust museum, D.C. cupcakes (yummy,) and shopping! And now for today we went to battle field and another museum, then to the Washington monument (holy cow it is tall, hehe). Washington has been amazing and I miss my Kansas friend's (love you guys). Well I will keep you updated tomorrow have a good nite. :~}

Obama Moment

Holy cow on our bus ride back to the hotel, all of a sudden there were police and ambulances everywhere.. We thought "what the heck". Shortly following was the black car motorcade, our tour guide said it was either Obama or his wife Michelle or both. What a memory I think we both will remember for a long time to come. I guess just another day in the life of DC..

Day 2 Adventure

Today was another great day we arrived at Arlington cemetery first thing and saw the changing of the guards. It was so moving and I took a ton of pictures. We also visited the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial. What an amazing moment, it was so hot in the sun but then on our 1/4 mile walk back to the bus out of no where we were cOught in a down pour. (Crazy but fun) No Umbrellas! Then off too Mount Vernon (Washington's home) what a beautiful location. Then a great dinner at Chevys. And then off to a ghost tour. Now off to our hotel for a shower and a good night rest.

Big City Note

You know you are in a big city when you are getting lunch at mcdonalds with 3000 other people and when you get your ticket number it says you are number 46,387
, not your usual 54. Lol

Day one of our tour.

Wow what a long, exciting day! Well let me start from the beginning first we met up with half of our group, (because the other half of us got stuck in Chicago) then we started our tour. Then we went to two museums and saw the wizard of oz shoes, Julia child's kitchen, and Abe Lincons top hat and much more. Then the other half of our group arrived and we went to the Vietnam memorial and off to shopping! After that we went to dinner and a show. Well now we r back and I am very tired, so have a good night ttyl.

We got to the airport and ate breakfast, now we r waiting for the class at baggage claim.

It' already here!?

Wow I can't believe our Washington D.C. tour is starting today, we have all waited for this for such along time. Congrates 7th & 8th graders it's here. :) This year has gone by soooo fast, well I can't believe it is here. I love D.C.

Going to dinner.

Well we headed out to dinner tonight and as we were walking back we decide to go to the underground shopping area, but turns out it was closed. So then as we were coming back to our hotel it decides to rain. Yeah fun stuff!
